Introduction
Integrated Education and Communication (IEC) offer specialized educational and supervisory support services for children who have autism and other related developmental disorders. The intervention approach adopted by IEC utilizes the core principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), a systematic approach to analysing and changing behaviour. IEC offer a complete developmental curriculum targeting areas such as social, communication, academic and independent living skills. Our goal is to provide children with the skills necessary to utilize the educational and social opportunities available in their family and community, with less professional assistance.
IEC's Mission Statement
To provide the highest level of service that is responsive to the individual needs of children with Autism and other related developmental disorders.
To provide individualised educational programs and supervisory support services, that are designed to specifically meet the needs of the child, utilizing the core principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA).
To provide children with Autism with foundation skills, enabling them to take advantage of the educational and social opportunities available with less professional assistance.
To embrace a team approach that values the knowledge and contribution of individual team members.
To offer quality ongoing professional development and training to those individuals interested in developing and refining ABA teaching techniques.

DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER (Discrete Trial Teaching)
Here at IEC we currently have permanent part-time and casual positions we need to fill.
The Permanent part-time positions are up to 30hrs a week, and the Casual position is up to 15 hrs a week.

Volunteers Wanted!
Integrated Education & Communication are currenlty seeking 1 or 2 ABA-minded volunteers to assist with our Playdaze social skills group every WEDNESDAY afternoon 1.00pm-3.00pm.
Our group includes several pre-school age children with Autism. Playdaze involve ongoing individualised programs focusing on developing and generalising children's social skills based on previously mastered skills. Our goal is to provide direct teaching situations to practice development of social skills in small groups.
Gain some experience in the field of early intervention, Autism, behaviour management and teaching playskills.
All volunteers are required to have or obtain a 'Volunteer' Working with children check (WCC) in order to have this position. These WCC are free for volunteers and forms can be either picked up from any Australia Post outlet. We would accept anyone who if they do not already have a WCC, were able to start the process immediately.
